Possibly the best apology video ever

Holy crap.  He calls Matt Stafford a china doll (correctly if you ask me) and then 'apologizes' by saying it was all Satan attacking him through the media.  Trust me, this is insanity that's just too good to pass up.

He's a football player for the Detroit Lions.  He called out his QB for being fragile - which he is - and the media decided to treat it as some sort of attack - which it wasn't - and so he decided to record an apology explaining what was really going on which, apparently, is that Satan is trying to bring him down through the media.  Seems perffectly plausible to me.

Aww c'mon.  You can do better than that.    I especially like the beginning with the rap song snippet and how he says something like 'that's truth right there'.

EDIT: By the way, this is one of the reasons that I think so poorly of college degrees.  This guy had to attend at least three years of college.  Sure seems like it by listening to him, no?  Oh, and a lot of football players are Communications majors.  When some of 'em are interviewed, they're barely intelligible.  There's very little integrity in American higher education, IMO.  Some schools do have it, of course, but if people like this can graduate or, at the very least, somehow be able to advance through three years of school, what does that say about quality control? What does it say about the value of the instruction?  Meh, whatever.

I'm sorry. I'm really stupified here. I feel like I should go bleech my brain or something.

I'd think this falls in the category of "I cannot deny anything you said because thinking about it would make my brain implode". So I'll just say "yes, he is absolutely right, about everything" and then slowly shuffle for the door.

The worst part is other people actually appear to look up to this man, which means it is possible to be dumber then that Undecided

Yeah, I feel exactly the same way.  It's like there's just no real way to articulate what you're feeling when you listen to this.  It's amazing, really.  And the support he's getting hurts my brain even more.  Seeing one idiot go off the deep end in all seriousness is amusing.  Seeing a flock of idiots offer support to said idiot is downright scary.  I looked at the comments expecting them to give him a brutal beating and found all of these morons supporting him after that video.  I mean, he did get screwed by a drama creating media (his comment really was no big deal), but how could you support that video?  I mean, really?  How?  I stopped after a brief search for one sane soul calling him out on his narcissistic insanity cuz I couldn't find one.  Oh well, what can ya do?

Well he is a Michiganer.

And yes they really are this crazy. I've got one in my STO fleet, that is utterly convinced that the world is 6000 years old, that all scientists lie about the age of the world, evolution and that if you aren't Saved (aka Baptist style not even just being a christian) you're going to hell regardless of how you act, or treat people. But you can be Hitler.... as long as you are Saved.

I think if I could pick one State to burn to the ground, with everyone trapped inside, it would be that one.  I'm serious.

That wouldn't fix anything, though.  You'd just be another tool Satan was usin' to bring him down.  No lesson learned, wrongheaded ideas reinforced.  It would, however, likely be gratifying.

Well, apparently he's good at throwing thing, hitting things thrown at him, or kicking things. If you can do one of those things really well, you'll probably become a millionaire, even if you should be too dumb to live.

I got you beat.  [Bryan Fisher of the American Family Association says that Satan is behind people hating Sarah Palin].  And this isn't some guy that's running off his mouth but paid for running something else, this is a guy that's paid to run his mouth, and he's depressingly successful at it.

Re: schools and jocks
Eh.  My school doesn't have a football team, or any sports team other then the student association funded rugby team.  So you just don't get people being carried through their classes 'cause they're awesome at chasing a pig skin or something.

To be fair, hatred is very un-Christian.

Meh, that guy may have been stupid but he worded his stuff well and actually had some form of basis to frame it.  I mean, people are Palin bashin' for something she had nothing to do with.  That's real.  The rest?  Yeah, notsomuch.  The football player, though, is sayin' Satan is targeting him through the media because Satan couldn't get him with hot chicks.  To me, that's more insane.  It's one thing to say 'Satan works against us' and then choose some other person's experiences to highlight as an example.  It's far, far different (and a bigger sign of instability, IMO) thing to say that Satan is after you personally because you've thwarted him recently.  And the language makes the football player's more interesting to me because he sounds incredibly stupid, too.  The other guy sounds smart.  I mean, I can see why that would tickle (and frighten) more in a way, but it just wasn't as funny.  Now if we're judging based solely on fear caused, yeah, your example wins there.  But whatever, ya know?  I appreciate the link and enjoyed it.  Er, you know, outside of the level of disgust it inspired.

As far as the school stuff goes, its a very, very good thing that there are schools that are not so inextricably tied to athletics out there.  They can actually be schools.  They aren't beholden to recruiting and game day performance.  With the amount of money involved - both incoming and outgoing (it can cost in the high six figures for a team to travel to just one game), it's hard to see a way for a school to not place its focus on athletics.  Meh, college is something I have major personal issues with.  I find it more appalling every time I think about the fact that 'higher education' is a for profit system.

The chainsaw would still be too quick. Unless you want to play Yakety Sax as you accomplish this, my parameters suggest a sterilised hacksaw would be preferable.

Hmmm... you may be correct. I think we could also use a few strategically placed tourniquets.

The stumps could also be cauterised so the tourniquets will not numb the targeted sections.

There are many more people in the world that believe the same thing as the guy in the original video. See... we can replay it many millions of times.

He's a football player. Most likely it's due to head trauma.
And why is it that I rarely know what people who constantly say "knowut I'm sayin'" are saying?

Because they rarely actually say anything besides "knowut I'm saying?"

To be fair, some of them say "Knowmusayin" instead.
