#1 Napolean_Warlord Jan 16, 2010 17:58:43	I want a good human sword and board warlord mini and a good human wiz (ideally orb wiz) mini. I don't want to paint and I dont want to buy a bunch of packs. Any tips on where to find? thanks!
#2 Ragnar_Lodbrok Jan 16, 2010 20:42:27	Google. WotC also has minis galleries which would be a good place to start your search (I think the paint jobs are worse than what I get when I hand-paint a mini, but they are painted en masse [I assume]).
#3 Napolean_Warlord Jan 17, 2010 18:07:35	Thanks for the reply.  I've spent a lot of time googling and havent found much beyond the WOTC singles.  That link is helpful.  Right now I'm using some "HeroClix" minis that I found at my FLGS in a singles bucket.  WOTC's selection leaves much to be desired. Maybe I'll suck it up and buy the paints etc.  I really only want two minis so it seems like a lot to buy all the stuff...
#4 dragom Jan 17, 2010 18:42:59	Theres googling and then theres hitting E-bay and running "D&D mini" or  "D&D mini x1" through the search bar.  One works better then the other.
#5 CCS Jan 18, 2010 2:10:57	Check out the plastic Confrontation figs/sets.  They have a number of really nicely done warriors in plate/heavy armor, shield & sword.  And there's a great armored mage with great sword & fire effects.  The best thing?  They're cheap (as far as sets of minis are concerned anyways)  I believe they're made by Rafm, Rackham, something like that - the same guys that make AT-43.
