I don't know what you two are talking about. There was only one Highlander movie ever made.
The only thing about Highlander that throws me is the way Macleod is the last immortal at the end of the first movie, and then there are more of them for the series. Fortunately, that's an easy fix if you assume the movie comes after the series or that it's a mistake on Macleod's part that he is the final winner.
I do have to agree with the others, the 1st movie and the live-action series are the best parts of the franchise. The second movie blew, the 3rd was better but nowhere near as good as the first, and the animated series was horrible.

I should maybe point out that I was quoting, or paraphrasing any way, Ricky Bobby, from Taledaga Nights. Basically my way of saying Will Ferrel has done some funny ass movies, Im not saying the man himself is funny, but he excells at saying the most stupid outragous things in a totally deadpan fashion, amuses the hell out of me, I should also maybe point out that im ussually, uhm, under the influence when I watch his movies so that might have something to do with it.
But yeah I dig Highlander, the first one is far and away the best one, but the second one aint too horribly bad if you watch the Renegade version, it makes a little more sense anyways, theyre not aliens theyre time travlers, makes loads more sense right? Right?
The Third one was, well I guess it was alright, I mean it was just the first one over again but only with a black guy, so if you liked the first one then you should like this one, unless your racist!! Although something I never understood, How come Connor never got no magical powers from taken peoples heads? Seemed like everybody else got some kool magical power but all Conor got was the ability to breath underwater!? What kinda crap is that!?
The fourth one was pretty good I thought, I guess you really cant call it the fourth one since really it was just The TV series:The Movie, but all in all I thought it was pretty good, showed Connor training Duncan, which I thought was kinda kool, they kinda hinted at that throughout the TV show, but never really showed us anything, so I thought that was kool, and it kinda revisited the first movie with the bit with Connors mom and everything, I though that was a nice touch, and the bad guy from the D&D movies didnt do too bad of a job in it, dude was pretty twisted, Im thinkin that he coulda taken out the Kurgan!
And really the 5th one wasnt all that bad I thought, well up unitl that stupid ending, the whole point was to knock up some chick in the future!? What the hell is that ****!? And, AND, they did a remake of the theme song? A sucky-ass remake at that!? Why would you mess with perfection!? Gah!!
And yeah I really got into the tv show back in the day, especially once they introduced Methos, Methos was the ****! He should of got his own series, instead of whats-her-name. Me and the wife actually just recently finished watching the whole series on Netflix, best episode has to be the one where Ritchie buys it, hahaha, hell yeah!!! I hated Richie!
and They made a cartoon that wasnt too bad ,I was certainly surprised by it, I was expectin it to be complete crap, but I seen it at oddlots for like 3 bucks so I thought what the hell, and actually turns out its not so bad, pretty good even, and no I dont mean the crappy saturday morning cartoon with young quentin macloud and his adventures on what ever stupid planet they were supposed to be from, this one is done in Anime style, the Quest for Vengence, or something like that, its worth checking out.

The Movie and the TV show are seperate Timelines, each movie is each its own Timeline as well, which is why if you actually watch them in order it makes no sense whatsoever, much like Star Wars.

What throws me is why they got a Frenchman to play a Scot when they had an authentic Scottish actor already. Who ended up playing a - wait for it - Muslim Egyptian Spaniard.
