Ever notice that QFT usually means "quoted for complete agreement with my own opinion"?
But I guess QFCAWMOO would take too long to write.

It's usualy only used for a win in debating, a good point of logic.

Not all is subjective, ya know.

And here all along I thought it meant "Quantum Field Theory"!

Quoted for truthiness.

Quoted for truthiness.

Interesting trivia: The "truthiness" Wikipedia entry was at one point deleted, then by popular demand un-deleted, and eventually ended up as a Wikipedia Featured Article.

I usually prefer to QFE, Quote for Effect. Similar to Firing for Effect.

I thought it was "Quiet Failure Time".

"QFT" is also used, though rarely on these forums, to hold a poster to his original statement by making an uneditable copy of it. Useful when debating with someone who keeps shifting his arguments and ret-conning his posts. In this context, it does not mean "I hold what you say as true", but "I'm saving what you said so I can nail you with it later."

Like that would happen here in those boards!

You know, for the longest time, I thought QFT meant "Quite True"

Sometimes I like my version better ;) .

So it doesn't mean that you've quaffed their statements?

Off-topic, but in another forum a poster made it popular to say QTF. It started as an accidental typo, and when he claimed he did it on purpose, it stuck. It's been this way for a year or so, now.

It's a popular forum (it's on myspace) so I'm surprised it hasn't spread elsewhere on the internet. Then, maybe it's just not that funny to other people. /shrug

Dude, that's not the truth. He just agrees with you! Your entire post is rambling nonsense, it's clear you have no grasp of game balance or what it takes to make a logically consistent post!

Rarely do I see a post that made as little sense as that one. I hope you come back to the forums, jimbo7987, when you learn how to play.

Really QFT.

Off-topic: For years I thought that FTW means "**** the What".

Okay, walking away now.
