1.) lol, n00b.
2.) Dislike? Depends on what you mean. As far as 'performing as an excellent tabletop RPG', 4.0 falls short of it's predecessor. As a game, it's fantastic for the hobby, though, since it's more balanced and more approachable for young people and beginners.
3.) Since shadowsystems went down? Yeah. My house.

2.) Nah. 'Falls short' doesn't mean 'bad', only 'bad by comparison'.

Feb 18, 2009 14:12:32 1. When I first heard it, I thought pwnd was something a mate of mine had made up. I now know it's an insult from WoW, and it's lost most of it's cool because of that.

2. It doesn't do what I need from an rpg. I agree that it has better potential as an introductary game and as a game for those who just want to get better and better at hitting stuff, but it does not fit with the way I DM and most of my character concepts don't work in it, so I'm not too keep on it.

3. Most of the shops I go to still sell 3.5 stuff.

Owned, but misspelled.
A very small percent of people. Most people don't know it exists, so they can't dislike it.

Edit: Wait, the title is query four, yet there are only three questions. Unless... Aha! The four question is cleverly hidden in the first sentence. Is the fourth question how to spell bored?

If so it is spelled like that.

I like all editions, but prefer 4E because it's balanced, and just talking about the core books here, it's not as cluttered as 3.5 BUT ALL EDITIONS OF D&D ARE D&D AND ROCK!

2. I don't actively want to burn the 4e books, but I don't like it and will not play it.
3.Try looking in comic shops. I found one recently that has quite a good selection of 3.x books.
