| #1The-Mage-KingFeb 18, 2009 8:41:05 | I'm boreder. Let the questions begin. What does "Pwnd" mean? How many people here dislike fourth edition? How many know where to get "Savage Species"? |
| #2rakeFeb 18, 2009 9:38:39 | I'm boreder. Let the questions begin. 1.) lol, n00b. 2.) Dislike? Depends on what you mean. As far as 'performing as an excellent tabletop RPG', 4.0 falls short of it's predecessor. As a game, it's fantastic for the hobby, though, since it's more balanced and more approachable for young people and beginners. 3.) Since shadowsystems went down? Yeah. My house. |
| #3The-Mage-KingFeb 18, 2009 9:50:17 | Answer the question. I meant "HERITIC!!!! BURN THE EVIL!!!!" dislike. I meant the book. |
| #4rakeFeb 18, 2009 9:59:23 | Answer the question. 1.) Srsly? 2.) Nah. 'Falls short' doesn't mean 'bad', only 'bad by comparison'. 3.) So did I. |
| #5annoyinglizardvoiceFeb 18, 2009 14:12:32 | 1. When I first heard it, I thought pwnd was something a mate of mine had made up. I now know it's an insult from WoW, and it's lost most of it's cool because of that. 2. It doesn't do what I need from an rpg. I agree that it has better potential as an introductary game and as a game for those who just want to get better and better at hitting stuff, but it does not fit with the way I DM and most of my character concepts don't work in it, so I'm not too keep on it. 3. Most of the shops I go to still sell 3.5 stuff. |
| #6oxybeFeb 18, 2009 14:24:05 | I'm boreder. Let the questions begin. -GTFO N00B! RTFM ![]() -can't say i'm one of them. 4th is my fav version so far. - *looks in backpack* MINE! you can't have it! |
| #7doneisiFeb 18, 2009 22:17:48 | I'm boreder. Let the questions begin. Owned, but misspelled. A very small percent of people. Most people don't know it exists, so they can't dislike it. Donno. Edit: Wait, the title is query four, yet there are only three questions. Unless... Aha! The four question is cleverly hidden in the first sentence. Is the fourth question how to spell bored? If so it is spelled like that. |
| #8The-Mage-KingFeb 21, 2009 9:40:35 | Thank you for that. You are the first person to answer that seriously. And this is the fourth "Query" thread, actually. |
| #9baneofelvesFeb 21, 2009 11:27:05 | I'm boreder. Let the questions begin. lol noob. I like all editions, but prefer 4E because it's balanced, and just talking about the core books here, it's not as cluttered as 3.5 BUT ALL EDITIONS OF D&D ARE D&D AND ROCK! No, sorry. Try online. |
| #10crimson_lancerFeb 21, 2009 15:48:44 | PWNED |
| #11Lord_VentnorFeb 21, 2009 18:39:54 | Is this a secret edition war thread? |
| #12doneisiFeb 21, 2009 18:44:07 | Is this a secret edition war thread? You discovered the true fourth question. |
| #13The-Mage-KingFeb 23, 2009 8:19:20 | THERE IS NO FOURTH QUESTION, DAMNINT!!!! THIS IS THE FOURTH THREAD IN A SERIES!!!!! Ahem, sorry about that. I needed to get that out of my system. The fifth "Query" thread will be open in a few hours from this post. |
| #14crossroads_wandererFeb 23, 2009 8:40:52 | 1. Yeah...that's already pretty much been answered. 2. I don't actively want to burn the 4e books, but I don't like it and will not play it. 3.Try looking in comic shops. I found one recently that has quite a good selection of 3.x books. |
| #15dirtyfrankFeb 23, 2009 9:09:36 | 1. Has been answered. 2. I like 4e, but that's because it's a good edition. 3. You can find it in a gaming shop, book store or online. |
