Question about Jazz

Oct 11, 2011 14:16:26 OK, there are at least three things that I like that have something peculiar in common: an energetic jazzy theme. I assume there are almost as many types of jazz as there are of metal, so if someone could tell me of some bands/musicians that practised this type...

Yes! And my personal favorite, Benny Goodman. Don't forget Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, and tons others.

Anyway, as for the topic, I'd recommend looking into Swing Music as well. Or play around with the Pandora music service (that's how I found Kamelot and Symphony X). (Pandora also throws a little Latin and Jazz at me because of some of my Classic Rock tastes.)
