and I'm going to be getting an android phone that uses linux style bs.

I appreciate it anyway I swear to god I think linux+partitions=retarded. I'm so sick of seeing linux and partitions in the same sentence all android programming is based on llinux unless I'm mistaken.

Apr 14, 2011 16:37:55 Ubuntu is pretty easy to use. If you are proficient with Windows, you can figure out how to navigate Ubuntu quickly. The only reason I stopped using it was the nonexistent drivers for some important hardware I had, my wireless adapter being one of them.

Now also keep in mind that linux is the core of many operating systems, but they are all a little bit different. Just because you learn to use Ubuntu doesn't mean you'll be able to do anything with your phone. I have a portable gaming device (the GPH Wiz, which by the way is pretty awesome) which runs linux, at work the controller unit for one of my robots uses linux, and I've used Ubuntu, and all three are radically different.
