Does anybody think that the Off Topic Tavern should have a Forum Guide?

If yes, then why do you think that the OTT needs a FG and who do you think it should be?

If no, then why do you think that a FG is unnecessary for the OTT?

Why would the OTT need a Forum Guide? People who are guides, generally tend to, ya'know, guide people. Aside from the rules posted right at the top of the forum, there are no other rules (aside from the CoC of course), so what exactly would you do? Enforce no flaming, trolling and such? That's what the ORC's are for, and everybody can already report issues like that. As a FG you wouldn't have any more power then anybody else, just a fancy title.

What else does that leave you? The welcome wagon? Could be nice, but really, a fancy title just 'cause you welcome people to the OTT? Does anybody want that?

Eh, I don't really care in great detail one way or the other, I just don't see the logical reason why you'd have a FG for a forum that doesn't need one. I'll still support you (DF), if it'll shut you up about it. :P

The only reason we'd need a guide would be to make sure that all threads get de-railed at some point or another. I think we're good enough at that on our own. Is this just an attempt to get some forum bling, df? For shame. For shame. It won't still be the kids table if some silly adult is standing over us cutting up our turkey, dammit. Keep your structure out of my taters!

Well, I was thinkin' mashed taters cuz that's what people typically have with turkey, but this works. I'm down with loaded taters of all types. Baked, mashed - it doesn't really matter as long as there's copious amounts of butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon bits. But no structure. That tastes terrible.

Are you kidding me? Try some blasted rubble with it next time. The grit makes it crunchy.

Crunchy taters are bad. Try washing them before you eat them. Just because you grow 'em in dirt doesn't mean you should eat dirt.

I was just thinking that bacon bits would taste really good mixed into mashed potatoes. Damn you, Z_B, get out of my head.

No structure though, that does taste terrible.
