#1 rake Feb 12, 2009 8:35:18	This could be awesome, or boring. (Same powersets? Maybe? Not quite?) A very important detail. The fight takes place in a 'comic book world', since The Mask's cool-factor is devalued if everyone is a cartoon, and the Freakazoid in live-action would be dumb. By 'comic book world' I mean an animated environment to which the laws of physics apply. Assume this is a street-level brawl and that neither character has a supporting cast. And go!

#6 oxybe Feb 12, 2009 12:51:18	the mask. their powers are similar, but 2 major differences: 1) the mask is a vicious SoB. seriously, the guy is pretty much chaos in it's purest form and he has no compunctions about using any method possible to destroy his enemies in the bloodiest method possible. freakazoid is far more compassionate and his crazyness is more wacky then the mask's chaos. 2) scope of power. both are very powerful entities but the mask IMO is just the more powerful one. freakazoid has the advantage of speed and knowledge (remember he's the embodiment of the internet), but the mask is just ridiculous in his abilities a power comparison: -Superhuman strength, durability, speed and agility. freakazoid can be hurt but will usually bounce back. the mask has shown his own special invulnerability to any kind of assault (except removal of the Mask) he will bleed but it won't hinder him in any way. -Reality fabric manipulation (both can alter surrounding reality, including object manifestation). -freakazoid is made of the internet so i'm guessing he has full unadulterated access to wikipedia & google on demand. the mask has Increased intelligence at the loss of sanity, inhibitions and self-control. both are smart quite smart. the key points here are the limits of Freak's durability and if it really confers invulnerability similar to the mask's and what limits his object manifestation actually have. the mask has shown the ability to pull out mini-guns, explosives & other dangerous objects. i'm sure i've seen Freak bring out the ACME-style gag bombs, but as for serious weapons, i can't remember for the life of me. IMO the end result would be Freakazoid jumping all over the place making funny noises, The Mask doing collateral damage with a ridiculous amount of guns & 'splosives and eventually forcing Freakazoid to give up and die less he wishes for all he cares about to be destroyed.
#7 rake Feb 12, 2009 13:08:01	I agree with the 'advantage: Mask' consensus, but hopefully you all realize that Mask or not, you can't just pull out an oversized firearm and shoot Freakazoid. There would be a lot of collateral damage here, though. Also: Bugs Bunny would just own Mask, yeah? I didn't pick Bugs because 'Bugs Bunny can't lose' is pretty much an unbreakable law. I mean, B.B. could beat Batman without even trying. Rule of Funny. EDIT: That gives me an idea... Bugs Bunny vs. Droopy. That would pretty much go on forever, yeah? Neither one can lose.
#8 Armisael Feb 12, 2009 13:12:01	When Droopy smiles, the universe goes through a big bang. I dunno, but I think that he'd win...eventually. As for The Mask and Freak, The Mask is basically The Joker with much, much more power (a Batman/Mask crossover even dealt with this). I think Freak would be able to duel him to a standstill, but he'd need more offensive punch to win.
