For the purposes of this match, Spider-Man has mechanical web-shooters and no access to 'the black suit'.

Combatants fight in a neutral area with variable terrain and high ground. Think Central Park, or a wrecked Imperial ship.

And go!

Does Maul have access to any way to sense ambushes or sneak attacks? If he doesn't, Spidey wins through webbing him when he's not looking his way. One hit from Maul and Spidey's down, though, so he would probably have one or two shots at it, no more.

I'm not sure exactly what Maul's force powers are, but they seem to be combat / sensory augments. The fight is arena-style, however, so there's no ambush. Spidey can hide once the match starts, though.

Hiding wouldn't remotely help either; Maul would just sense Spidey, just as Spider-Man would get all tingly if Maul tried to ambush him. In a straight fight, I'd give it to Maul just because one blow from him would cleave a chunk of the Wall-Crawler off, while Spider-Man would just hit him really hard.

This is "The-Fight-Where-Noone-Actually-Gets-Hit"

Serisously.

Spider-Man tries to web Maul, Maul senses it with the Force and moves out of the way.

Maul tries to Force Shove Spidey, Spidey uses Spidey Senses and moves out of the way.

Basically both of them would just get tired continuously missing and eventually go to sleep. BORING.

Swirling lightsabre beats even impact webbing, so I guess this does come down to a brawl. Maul can get hit, though, and so can Spidey, if you're good enough.

Probably a win for Maul then? Breaks a sweat, but wins pretty cleanly?
