Now that you have rated this thread I'd like to know what people think about thread rating. I'd like to know why people do or don't rate threads. Please feel free to share your own opinion on the subject.
Aside from thread rating, this thread is open to any and every topic that is not in violation of the CoC. Feel free to talk about what you want to make this thread as enjoyable as you wish.

P.S. I never rate threads, and I'm not breaking that bond of apathy for this one.
P.P.S. Finally back onto the original topic, I almost never look at thread ratings, mostly I look at the name of the OP and the thread title to see if it's worth my time. If either of those interest me, then I hover over it with my mouse so I can read the first bit of what the OP has to say.

Theoretically no, because trolling is against the CoC.
We could instead talk about marbles. Do you have any?

Going off topic is also against the CoC, but since it's your thread I'm assuming it's okay.
Anything that doesn't violate the CoC is on topic, which means that you can talk about anything here unless it is one of the few things that is forbidden.

Also, interesting concept for a thread. No one really uses the rating system on these boards.
It doesn't matter in the tavern, because anything that's up for more than a few days will get a huge rating, thus making a high rating moot. Almost every thread up right now has 4 or 5 stars. :p
If you haven't noticed, most of those threads have only one rating and that rating is me. I have been, for the most part, the only one rating threads here in the OTT. If threads had more than one rating, such as more than 10, then ratings would be a bit more accurate about how good a thread is.
