| #8lokiareJul 07, 2011 17:32:26 | Energy All around us - The problem is some of it is inaccurate. For instance they actually have scientifically proved that energy is created and destroyed constantly on the sub-atomic level. The earth is surrounded in something called the Electromagnetic field. This is basic high school science here... Nicola Tesla harvested the earths EMF by creating a giant copper antenna. Toxins - From Wikipedia: A toxin (Greek: τοξικόν, toxikon) is a poisonous substance produced within living cells or organisms[1][2] (man-made substances created by artificial processes, outside of the human organism usually are not considered toxins by this definition). It was the organic chemist Ludwig Brieger (1849–1919) who first used the term 'toxin'.[3] When people talk of Toxins, they are (incorrectly) including toxicant and toxics. So you are grammatically correct. Of course in common usage Toxin means "Any chemical introduced to an organism that inhibits the health of said organism" Some toxins are more powerful than others and the body CAN work out small amounts of "Toxins". But you are not either 'dead' or 'super healthy' there's a range in there. You can be 'nearly perfectly healthy', 'somewhat healthy', 'unhealthy', etc..etc... The total number of 'toxins' in your body over time can affect your level of health. Here is a nice article with links to government lists of known 'toxins' that have been tested and found to be toxic at specific levels. So your toxins one is wrong. Really you can call people out when they claim something is toxic, but when they show you the evidence you kinda have to acknowledge they are... Secret Conspiracies - When someone comes out of left field with no evidence and tries to tell you that certain people are working together to accomplish some hidden goal THAT is a conspiracy theory. Other people provide evidence that consists of government documents, ex-government employee witnesses, or other credible evidence, it stops being a conspiracy theory and becomes conspiracy fact. Examples are the recent gun smuggling through Mexico. Sure call someone out when they claim something is a conspiracy, but when they provide the facts to back it up, then quit arguing with them... As far as Coffee enemas. The only thing they do is provide caffeine to the liver. This stimulates the production of certain chemicals that help regulate insulin. Coffee enemas are not a magical cure all and they don't cure anything in and of themselves, but to say they do nothing when they have been proven to do something is flat out lying... |

A coffee enema is the procedure of inserting coffee into the **** to cleanse the rectum and large intestines. > Given how unhealthy auto exhaust is, it's no surprise that the fluids we feed our cars aren't very safe either. Antifreeze and brake fluids that contain ethylene glycol are highly toxic, and windshield wiper fluid is extremely poisonous. As little as 2 tablespoons can be deadly to a child. Euh, what is the link between Antifreese, brake fluids and auto exhaust? Breathing car exhaust is mostly unhealthy because it contains soot. Which is not really relevent to the fact that people shoudn't be drinking antifreeze or brake fluid! (Ethylene glycol is toxic, because when it gets ingested, it turns into oxalic acid) |
| #10EscefJul 08, 2011 2:51:44 | Breathing car exhaust is mostly unhealthy because it contains soot. And Carbon Monoxide. Which has this amazing tendency to bond to hemoglobin more readily than O2 does. End result: death by asphyxiation. |

If you go for the mouth-to-exhaust way you should worry more about burning your mouth then the CO I think, unless you're intentionally trying to get CO poisoning. |
| #13EscefJul 08, 2011 4:07:00 | If you go for the mouth-to-exhaust way you should worry more about burning your mouth then the CO I think, unless you're intentionally trying to get CO poisoning. There was a point in time when CO poisoning was a popular suicide method. Park the car in the garage, make sure all the doors are closed, take a seat, start up the car, and leave it in park (or with the hand brake applied if you're rocking a manual transmission). Bonus points if you're listening to the M*A*S*H theme (cookie for the first to correctly guess why). Yeah, I'll admit, that's kinda' dark, even for me. |

Guessing won't be necessary. Suicide is painless. I really need to properly memorize the words to that song. A hose from the tailpipe to the open window is also an option; the exhaust will be cool enough by then. |

| #42capitan_estabanJul 10, 2011 1:54:13 | It's missing something from the chart. "It happened millions(or billions) of years ago, but it is obervable and testable." |
| #43lokiareJul 11, 2011 2:44:02 | It's missing something from the chart. I don't know what your referencing, but I was talking about a scientific experiment they did a couple of months ago... |
| #44QubeJul 11, 2011 3:07:02 | Its in a thread I made here a while back. The one about the mirrors and the vacuum and the mirrors lighting up. They basically proved that evergy at the atomic level is created and destroyed constantly. So yeah, it used to be that it was never created or destroyed, but now it is... The article that says Capasso calls the experiment “very clever”. He doubts that the effect has any practical use because it doesn’t generate large numbers of photons, but he considers it a nice demonstration of quantum mechanics ? "Quantum" IF quantum physics is being invoked to explain anything that can DIRECTLY help you, It's probably CHOPRA. |

| #46QubeJul 11, 2011 4:43:10 | I never said it would directly help me, just that it proves the other one wrong about energy not being a field that surrounds us... But you're looking to far. Sub-atomic energy? forget that, and try magnetic powers, cell phone signals, radio waves, light. etc ... all energy. The writer doesn't deny the fact that light, or even sub-atomic enery is all around us, but the notion that it is som that energy is a field that surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together (like the Force from Star Wars). he even explains his "energy is not an invisible magical cloud," with "It can come in many forms such as kinetic or electrical energy, but at their roots they are both the same thing, the result of atoms interacting with one another. You don’t just pluck it from the air, nor is it emitted by magic bracelets. It does not act on specific aspects such as brain activity or balance" (Granted, atoms are too big; it should be sub-atomic particles .) Energy is not a field. Energy just is. btw, per definition of energy (because it's so broad and abstract), a magic bracelet does emit energy: magic. |
