(Sometimes I get a little too bored, you think?)

Do you think that we, as servants of the children of Io, should condone movies which promote violence to dragons? Such horrific offendering include human propaganda films such as "Dragonslayer (the tragic tale of a single mother, trying to raise her eggs while facing off against human predators)", "Reign of Fire", even "The Fellowship of the Ring" poked fun at dragons. It is a disgrace, and I say we do something, so this is what I suggest:

ukris ekress gix, ominak levethrix ghoros nurh pothoc tundar! Let it be our rally cry! We shall not be silent! Ihk Bahamut! Ihk darastrix vivex!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are gravely upset at the content of the last letter proposed. Our goddess, The Raven Queen has little interest in the affairs of dragons, and especially not those petty sorcerers who want to believe they are giant lizards because they learn to hiss when they speak! They shall await the same fate as the rest of us, no matter how they attempt to orchestrate their fates. And it is of no consequence that a small minority fail to see the entertainment value of the movies they mentioned. Reign of Fire was indeed, a good movie. This does not mean, however that movies are blameless, we should instead be aware of the blasphemy promoted by such heathens as George Romero, who openly promotes necromancy in his movies, and makes documentaries of what an undead world would be like! Oh Queen, what have they done? I say we stand up, and fight, not against petty adventures, but against the scourge of the undead, as they lay siege to our minds and world, beginning with these subversive works!

Sincerely, the Church of the Raven

I have just completed a new translation of the tale of St. George, and no sooner than I complete the volume then I receive threats from the Draconic church against my heresies, referring to a letter they had made public about persecution of dragons in film. I find it quite fascinating. Of course, I am well aware that they will not act, so it does not concern me much, rather I find it amusing.

While I am known to watch an occassional documentary, I rarely if ever decide to indulge in such pointless films as the ones mentioned in these letters. Even proposing the existence of their respective deities, I question the motives behind their threats of violence. I believe I shall investigate further, to my own ends.

Yours indeterminately, Kellig of Ioun

Followers,

I was unaware of these "documentaries" they speak of, and I will certainly be seeking them out, as I think we all shall. For indeed, any way that we might improve our means of forgoing the grave and bringing our armies to scale is the path we will pursue!

I have acquired a movie called "Shaun of The Dead" that I believe will help us in our battle against the Elves of Lochseah, and we shall be watching it tonight!

Hail Vecna!!!

P.S. Bring popcorn

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh my Melora, I just totally saw the most rad thing! It was like, this movie, and there was a green field, and I was totally like, whoa, this is amazing, it was all hi-def and all, so wicked! So like, I think we should stop thinking about how bad movies are and stuff, and look at all the beautiful things, I was watching this cartoon, and like this princess was wearing a gown, and the birds and squirrels and mice were helping her get ready for a ball, and I was like, totally about to bawl my eyes out, it was so gnarly! So, um, yeah, I like movies, and we totally should go watch some, yeah!

Deer Krush,

We do good, kill all letter makers. Dragon people die quickly. Others easier, happy priestess hard to kill. Smile too much. We bring much loot and shiny. Gruumsh be proud today. Find with dead much movies, should watch. Me want to watch Conan again first. Me like Conan.

On behalf of the Temple of the Storm Lord,

We find it pathetic that so many people are watching movies and television instead of exercising and wrestling. The current chunk of season finales gives us hope that the summer shall give poeolpe the chance to get back into swimsuit shape!
(Note: Kord himself has given an exception to the Thundercats film)

Representing the Militant Hands of Ioun,

Our latest research has indicated that over 95% of television viewers experience a negative rate of knowledge attainment. As this is contrary to the will of Ioun, we can not let this sit by. Our latest efforts to convince people to read or at least watch the discovery channel has failed, so we will now be offering an alternative form of enlightenment to the entertainment companies in the form of pointy things and fire until they remove all reality television and pointless gameshows from the air.

Respectfully yours,
Head Book Keeper Samu Vollerban
