It was a sad sad day for me and all of Pink Floyd fans. I cannot tell you how many years that the music of Floyd had supported me through both good and bad times. I think back to all the times I would flip in a tape, record or CD. How many times I watched my VHS copy of The Wall and now the DVD.
All the time, the music of this band would support me and transport me (when needed) away from or into my life here on Earth.
So, to you, Richard Wright, I raise a toast and no small amount of other salutes to the work you did and shared with the World. It was beautiful. It certainly threw me a bone and now with swollen hand blues, I look at my 13 channels of **** to choose from and realize that when I look for new music from you, there will be nobody home.
