This is correct. Our computer room is also a spare bedroom and this would allow us to watch movies and play games in comfort.

Nov 04, 2011 8:13:26 Running a cable from one room to another isn't that big of a deal. You could even put a nice jack in each wall and make it all professional lookin'. It is harder than purchasing a piece of equipment, though. Likely much cheaper, but more work.

Nov 07, 2011 9:34:12 A Roku box allows you to access online content via your TV. You can watch Netflix and Hulu on TV instead of on your computer monitor.

So anyone use a Roku or have experience with one?

That's a perfectly good reason. I recommend you get one and write a review, since it appears no one here has ever used one.

Nov 12, 2011 11:13:16 Considered a lot of cheaper alternatives such as the cable and moving the computer out of the spare bedroom. However a nice small box may solve that issue and prevent clutter in our tiny house.

If I do pick up a Roku Box I will write up a brief review.
