| #1lostmysticAug 08, 2012 2:54:44 | I'm trying to improve the fun portion of travel in D&D. (Some DM's are great, but I've more often seen this part drag.) So from you guys, I just need to know hang-ups (boring moments) you have when doing in game traveling. So if this just becomes a thread about how to spice up travel, great! But tell me what kind of features you'd like to see. Thanks guys! EDIT: Remove any references that take away from what I'm asking. |
| #2zombie_babiesAug 08, 2012 8:15:05 | I get bored when I read advertisements on a forum I come to for funsies. Got an ap for that? |

| #4lostmysticAug 08, 2012 10:41:40 | I was hoping for information to help but if this is merely spam or offensive for you then I apologize. You can lock the thread. I posted in off topic tavern specifically not to get in the way of most of the normal talk, and try NOT to be spamy at all. Surely if I don't mention CENSORED, I can still ask about Hang-ups (boring moments) you have when doing in game traveling.? EDIT: I've revised the original post to try to be more to the point and less spammy. I would change the thread name if I could. Again apologies to any it offended. |
| #5zombie_babiesAug 08, 2012 11:59:30 | It doesn't offend, it rubs our fairly rigid CoC* the wrong way. And I can't lock threads. We could report you and ask that the thread be locked, of course, but why? Why do that when we can ... repurpose your thread? ![]() By the way, even your second topic won't work here. This is the Off Topic Tavern. The topic? D&D. So, talking about D&D here is actually something our fairly rigid CoC doesn't like. Not a bit. But hey, how could you know that? It's not like there's sticky threads that are a result of the fairly rigid CoC that totally explain all of this. Oh wait ... ![]() Seriously, we're just funnin' ya a bit. But yes, advertising and talking about D&D (here, anyway) are CoC violations. Not that we mind, mind. ____________________ *Code of Conduct. You should probably read it. If you do, you'll see why we call it 'fairly rigid'. It's written sort of vaguely in most cases to allow flexibility in interpretation (not by us, only by the ORCs) and enforcement. |
| #6lostmysticAug 08, 2012 22:00:16 | Thanks ZB. I read the CoC. I recreated in previous editions, without any app name information. Hopefully it will be out of the way enough and serve some use too. |
