Think about it.  I mean, not only is she a champion, too, she's hawt.  It must be true.

I've seen the video. It is interesting, and brings up some interesting points. I doubt it's truth, but it presents enough to make one question the blind acceptance of the media reports.

Um... No.

More on topic, anyone who says GSP are boring hasn't played one. An optimized Kimbery-favored Scourge can be totally awesome, and has just about the best Perfect Defense in the game, and can run well in a Chungian game.

Yeah, well, she's functionally retarded, so I wouldn't put too much stock in what she says. She's lucky she is hot and fights girls that aren't named Cyborborg Santos. If she did, she wouldn't be champion, or pretty for quite some time.

Ok, so she's retarded.  I don't care.  Oh, and Cyborg isn't a woman.  Er, at least not anymore.

Well, she can't abuse all the girls she wants to.  Cuz she seems to wanna fight outside her weight class a lot.  It's almost like she's targeting the current famous chick for a reason or something.  May it be that her star has diminished in brightness since she was caught cheating?  Hmm ...

If Cyborg really wanted it she'd drop.  Instead she demanded RR go up - which makes a more difficult fight for the champ and a much easier one for the challenger.  So I don't really respect her challenge.  She just wanted to get her name out there for something other than roids - which, funnily enough, are probably why she can't drop enough to fight RR.

All she's gotta do is stop juicin' for a month and she'll be right at the proper weight.

Catch weights still favor the fatso.  The li'l one has to just cut a little or not at all and the big one can cut and then still outweigh the other by 10 to 20 pounds.  It's stupid to do it - especially when a cheater demands it of you.

Hmm ... and I suppose it would be a 'Diaz brother' getting her ass kicked ... yeah, bring it on!

EDIT: You watch that last Strikeforce card?  I'm trying to understand what the big deal about Cormier is.  I mean, he didn't even look in shape.  That Saffedine dood is legit, though.  Nice to see him absolutely destroy Marquardt's roid addled leg like that.  Probably won't get the UFC invite, though - unless all champs get in or something.

EDIT2: Saffedine apparently made the cut ... and so did Marquardt.  You know, the guy Dana said would never be back.

as long as the MMA commission sanctioning the fight considers her a woman, she can still fight other women and beat them like an abusive husband who has been drinking Pabts would.

Green Sun Prince. Also known as Infernal Exalted. They're pretty awesome, even ignoring some of the broken stuff. I mean, they have near on the best perfect defense, can get truly monstrous soak, and really generally have a bunch of nice toys.

I dare you to call Cyborg fatso to her face.

Meh... Roids can only get you so far. Look at Henderson. He hasn't held a UFC belt... ever. The guy has been juiced up for years and he hasn't been able to beat anyone that had a belt. Hell, Henderson came in with the Pride belt and lost it to Rampage. He went up against Silva and got subbed. I can't wait to see Henderson take on Machida. Machida is going to crane kick Henderson into retirement, right next to Randy. Speaking of Silva, juiced up Sonnen couldn't beat him either.

The juice will only get you so far against mid-level fighters. If Rousy is as much of a great fighter as she thinks she is, she should have no problem taking on Cyborg.

Yeah, that is pretty stupid of her to consider herself an honorary Diaz brother as if that was something good. I mean, if you're going to look up to someone, at least look up to someone that is more successful than you. Ronda Rousy has a championship belt. The last time Nate Diaz held a belt, it belonged to the other guys in his group that have actually won titles. And Nick's title was prett weak considering he had to wait until Jake "I have the gas tank of a half empty moped" Steel left to the UFC before he got his hands on a belt.

I saw it. Very blah. Cormier has the hype-train riding him around. He has an undefeated record against a bunch of guys that quite honestly sucked. He beat Antonio Silva  by TKO, I think, but Silva isn't the best fighter either. The guy is huge and strong, but he isn't very fast. He is a good gate keeper, but sadly, that is as far as he is going to get.

In any case, Cormier looked really out of shape for the last Strike Force fight. He looked hagard by the end. He is lucky that he has a good wrestling background because he looked terrible against a no-name opponent. That just shows terrible work ethics. He should have ben in just as good a shape as if he was taking on JDS or Alistar Overeem. Instead he shows up fat and lazy. He should have been able to finish that fight in the first round. If he shows up with that attitude to the UFC, Cormier is going to have his unbeaten record and the hype-train it rode in on derailed like a D&D thread in the OTT.

I would cuz maybe her hubby would decide to take a shot at me and he's kinda terrible.

Hendo's issue is a combination of roid damage and age.  He old, homie.  Roids can help.  That's kinda why they're banned.

I have no idea how good RR is.  I mean, she seems unstoppable but she hasn't really been tested.  Is that a function of her awesomeness or the lameness of her opponents and their teams?  No idea.  It's not like she's one two fights the exact same way, it's like eight or something.  So she could be awesome.  I just don't know.

That's always fun.

Yupyup.

No, I missed it. From what I've heard, I didn't miss much.

I guess some fights were good.  I only saw Cormier and Saffedine.  The Cormier fight was awful.  An outclassed dood and a champ that couldn't finish him properly.

Kind of wish I had seen it. I don't know why more people don't use leg kicks to cripple their opponents. Look at what Benson Henderson did to Nate Diaz. He pretty much took out Diaz only skill... walking forward. Nate stood their and ate punches and kicks. Heck, Henderson at one point even punched Diaz's leg. After the first rund of crippling leg kicks, Nate was done. He had nothing for Henderson. His only offense was a few weak leg lock attempts. Henderson didn't even look worried.

Yeah, it was brutal.  Buckled a few times, looked like it was actually bleeding.  Marquardt didn't bother to check 'em 'til the fifth round.  Cuz he's apparently an idiot.  But yeah, leg kicks are awesome and not enough doods use 'em.  Saffedine had to worry about Marquardt's wrestling and didn't care.  He kicked anyway.  A lot of guys won't.  Thing is, if you bust up a leg, that dood ain't takin' you down.

You sound surprised that Dana would go back on his word. It's not as if he hasn't done it at least 50,000 times this past month.

Yes, my sarcastic surprise.    Dana is so full of it.
