#9 iqwinn Mar 13, 2013 1:47:21	You missed the point, HS.  One would think that in this age where people can bully others online (saying things that they would never dare say to their victim's face for fear of being injured or killed) that this man's actions would be lauded.  His tormentor was called out, and the tormentor's cowardice was revealed for all to see, and that was the end of the matter, aside from a sniveling apology by the tormentor.  One would hope that the tormentor has learned a lesson in not kicking someone while he is down, especially someone who could snap his legs after the second kick. Here's another example:  When Draco replied to a post I had made, changing the wording of my post to make my sweet wife sound like a violent inebriate, I knew that it was the response of the same kind of bully.  I knew that he would never dare to say such a thing to me or to my wife for fear of losing his life. People, especially those in the spotlight usually expect to be kicked, no matter if they are up or down; it is human nature.  Those who are regulars at kicking them while they are down, who take sadistic pleasure in doing so, ought to know that they themselves are not immune from retaliation.  Whether the retaliation comes in the form of an up-close and personal visit or an elaborate form of revenge is irrelevant.  What you sow is what you reap, and if you sow enough rudeness and nastiness, you are bound to reap it back, pressed down and shaken together. As for my statement about Goldomark, I sincerely hope that his attitude and actions have changed, and not because he has encountered someone like the aforementioned professional fighter (or a similar person) who was able to track him down.  I know that he may be operating under another name here, but I'm sure that I would have recognized him.  Again, I don't wish him any harm, but rather that his attitude is improved.  Peace.

I am not the world's greatest physical specimen, a fact that has been pointed out by some very shallow and rather sadistic people.  If that is all that such a person does, call me names and then walk away, it's not worth it to me to call them out on it.  However, if such a decides to invade my personal space and gets in my face, that is a game changer.  At that point, I start telling them directly, "You are in my personal space.  You need to back off.  I am feeling VERY threatened", and a glare will start to darken my face.  That will cause the more reasonable, and the more cowardly, to back away, perhaps even apologizing.  However, the less reasonable will take it as a sign that they can continue, and it will progress into a physical confrontation. I have only had one serious physcial confrontation in my life, and it was not until I proved to the aggressor that I will willing to kill him that he ran away and left me alone.  Since that time, he has left me alone (this was some 25 years ago, and I haven't seen him in over 20 years). I have never taken another human life.  I pray that I will never have to do so.  But if I ever have to, because some blow-hard thinks that I am an easy target, or because someone believes that I, as a Christian, ought to just lay down and die on his whim, I will.  I will protect myself and my loved ones, by whatever means are necessary for the situation.
