Why do I have the feeling billions of dollars are being spent right now to develop a home std testing kit?

And why am I surprised there isnt one already?

Getting your partner tested all the time isn't very practical. And unless you accompany them to the doctor's office to pick up the results, you have no way of knowing that the results are genuine. But there's still hope. We have these crazy newfangled things called condoms. While not absolutely perfect, they vastly reduce the chance of you getting or transmitting an STD.

Likely to transform a common and easily treatable infection into a global health threat. Scientists have found a brand new "super gonorrhea" which withstands all known treatments. Physicians say it could become a worldwide health threat. I found this here: New strain of gonorrhea is resistant to all antibiotics.

The only way something becomes completely immune to all antibiotics is continued and repeated exposure to all forms of antibiotics. Its called weaponization and can only be done in a lab...
