Screw with DM, Character Creation Help.

So, we just finished our two-year long campaign a month ago, took a nice break for a while, and now we're getting ready to start a new campaign tomorrow. Well, that's great and all, but I want to do something really different this time. The DM is my closest friend and I want to make a character to completely screw with her, so I don't want something basic and boring, I need something out of the box. In fact, I want ideas that are on the opposite side of the world as the box.

She said, and I quote, "Anything goes." So if it's from a published book, we can do it, and we're starting at level 9 (Apparently our new guy wants to bring in his old healer from a different game)

My first thought was to make a Half-Air Elemental, Half-Fiend, Ghul Wererat (Ninja 5/ Assassin 4) with Vow of Poverty. He would kill every NPC he came within 30 feet of and constantly hide from the other PCs and plan elaborate schemes to kill them in their sleep. All his stats come out to be at least 22, or something like that.

I'm not totally happy with this idea. Sounds fun, but maybe I'm disrupting game play  too much?

So I need ideas for a character that I can screw with Miss DM with, but is fun to play and not disrupt game play too much. Help?

Edit 1: I should specify, we're pulling mostly from 3.5e with a Pathfinder twist.

You forgot level adjusments.

Ah, another detail I failed to mention. Level Adjustments don't exist. Miss DM doesn't like them.

Why do you need other people's help in acting like a jerk and sabotaging the game? Sounds like you've already got it well in hand.

If there's no LA, why don't you just play a Solar?

Other then that; I agree completely with Boraxe.

wait what? no LA penalties? someone asking for help being a jerk? oxybe to the rescuuuuuuuue!
Show

dude: be a human. apply the feral template (savage species). LA+1, er 0. loads of goodies, but the important is 2 claws and +4 str (oh, and natural armor, a crapton of abilities and FAST HEALING).

since you really want to be a jerk, apply half-dragon at this point. this LA+3, er 0, template will further boost your str by +8 and give you a bite attack. i say Red dragon for being flame retardant.

then apply the half-farspawn template (lords of madness). more goodies at LA+4, er 0. important: gives you 4 free tentacles and a laundry list of abilities (many spell-likes like greater invis 1/day, natural weapons considered magic VS DR, blindsight 60 ft, immunities, etc...).

since you have a change shape effect via half-farspawn this also allows you go into warshaper and gain morphic weapon, for an extra tentacle or whatnot. level 2 gives you +4 str & +4 con.

so we have 5 tentacles+2 claws+1 bite.

now go into soul eater (book of vile darkness), which allows you to drain levels, no save, on a touch. make a full attack worth of grapple checks, in addition to innate stat enhancement boosts upon draining a level and the ability to fire a frikkin laser once per day. oh, remember that feral template i mentioned? yeah: pounce. also: rake (2 free attacks at full BAB with your back legs [IE:don't wear shoes] if you succeed at grappling)

so assuming you should probably have at least 2 attacks per round at this point with your main claw, and the 6 other natural attacks (all at -5 full BAB) and should you actually succeed at grappling with one of your 9 attacks you get 2 more free ones at full BAB. all naturally unarmed (ie: touching the enemy). all draining one level each.

and once you hit level 7 in soul eater, 2 levels each.

you will effectively murder things by punching their soul out and looking like something from a HP lovecraft novel: a primal, scaled, tentacled amorphous horror made of hate, spite and pure chaos.

the easiest counter to you is stuff immune to level drain, but even then you still punch like a bullet train, you're about as naturally armored as a tank & have a healing factor akin to wolverine.

there. now get ready to run for the hills as you GM throws a library's worth of books rightfully amied your noggin and probably denies you entry at their next game for taking advantage of her niceness.

...

you know what? if you're going for campaign-breaking, go all-out. i say add a few levels of frenzied berserker (comp.warrior) from then on. run the whole gamut of GM AND player hate as once you've swiftly turned the enemies into soulless husks, brutally tenderized by your adamantium fists your rage will still not be satiated and thus turned onto the party.

start off with barb 4/fighter 2/warshaper 2/SE1. at 10, FB1 followed by 6 levels of SE and the rest in FB.

feats:
human - alertness
level 1 - power attack
level 3 - destructive rage
fighter 1 - cleave
level 6 - intimidating rage
fighter 2 - weapon focus (claws)
level 9 - improved bull rush. because....
level 12 - shock trooper (comp.warrior) makes everything hilarious.
level 15 - skill focus (underwater basketweaving)
level 16 - skill focus (improved underwater basketweaving)

end game build:

Barb 4/ftr 2/warshaper 2/SE7/FB5.

there is no kill like overkill.

Wait.  You basically design a character that would require the entire game to revolve around you and you're actually, honest to god wondering if you're gonna be too disruptive?  Nah, man.  Not at all.  Go for it.  I'm sure the rest of the players will have a blast watchin' you and the DM play D&D together.  Watchin' is the same as playin', right?

How about just designing a character, using this book i've heard of... What was it called again? Oh thats right Players Handbook.

But seriously you don't mess with the DM, unless you plan on destroying the game & don't plan on being invited back.

Wow.
Really?
You removed my post, which basically said, "Isn't there another place in the forums that this would better to be in?"

And you deem that to be "disruption"?
Really?

No wonder I, and many, many others, think that moderation is a joke on here.
And I am fully aware that this post will be deleted as well.

I simply do not care...
And I want to let the community know how poor of a job moderation does...

I imagine, without confirmation, that your first post which said as such was deleted because it led into other posts that were basically you and Goldo sniping back and forth, which was a disruption.  Or to put it another way... the first post might not have been a disruption, but as it directly led into the conversation that was a disruption it got caught in the collateral damage.

Okay here's the craziest thing I can think of take a small animal like a mouse.  Give it the awakend template.  Add half fiend, and half celestial to it, then add half dragon as well.  Take a class like warlock or wizard and the feats for not needing components for spells.  You will then have the most ridiculous character imaginable.

Back to the orginal topic of the off topic thread here.  If you can use any book, I suggest H.P. Lovecraft and the Necronomicon.  Make your character Cthulu, that should make it fairly unique.  Having all the other players and NPCs constantly making sanity checks every round should be amusing for the first 5 or 6 sessions at least.  Nothing like playing an eldrich ancient abomination to lighten up everyones day.

Incorrect. Ignoring the fact that they are all the same template, the template requiers you to not be a dragon, and then it makes you a dragon, thus you cannot take another template that requiers you to be a non-dragon.

nope. half-dragon's only requirement is that : "Half-dragon" is an inherited template that can be added to any living, corporeal creature (referred to hereafter as the base creature).

Huh, strange oversight. Still, it is the same template, not a diffrent template for each.

Still, you would think dragons would just all start breeding cross colors, it would greatly increase the survivability of their offspring. (2 elemental Immunites, ability bonuses, back up breath weapon, improved armor) especially during their younger years. Once they reach young adult, though, you need to figure out what happens when a creature would get 2 fly speeds, normally you keep whichever is better, but one is faster, but the other is more manueverable, so which is 'better' is far from clear. Do they get to pick which one they want to use in any given round, or do they end up with their full speed, and the better manuverability?

Exactly.  Being disruptive at all is being too disruptive.  They always say that there's no wrong way to play D&D.  Welp, they're wrong about that.  This way - playing to disrupt - is the wrong way to play.

So did I expect so much hate from faceless internet persons when all I wanted was an answer to a very simple question? Honestly, a little. You're telling me none of you have ever wanted to screw with your best friend who happens to be a total pushover? If you answer how I think most of you would, you're liars.

That said, she is no longer a pushover, killed my character in the first twenty minutes, and I after much laughing between all six of us at the table, I rolled a new character and we continued.

I went with with the Soul Eater idea, but tweaked it a bit.
Started with human, applied the Paragon template (ELH and best template freaking ever), Half-dragon, and half-fiend.

As for class, well at first she allowed gestalt characters (Unearthed Arcana) so Barbarian 3/Ninja 4/Soul Eater 1 all with 8 gestalt Monk levels and one Cleric, just for the hell of it.

The way we run Flurry of Blows (I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be like this, but it's been like this for years) a Monk gets a full set of Flurrys for each BAB she has. Plus, I gave her a monk's belt and handwraps of speed (giving her two extra attacks in her flurry). She ended up with like, 20 or so unarmed strikes in a full round, each giving a negative level on top of doing almost 50 points of damage each without raging. Oh, and nothing could touch her. Something about 60+ AC and DR 20

Pissed DM was Pissed. Everyone else thought it was hilarious that I managed to destroy her entire session in ten minutes. My character ended up being swallowed by a worm the size of Kansas and instead of a long death in it's stomach, she punched herself to death.

Best session ever.

Considering this is the one place on the forum where you're not supposed to talk about D&D, that you got answers at all amazes me.

Also, no, I would never intentionally screw up a campaign. Maybe it's just because I'm the regular DM and I know what it's like when a player screws things up accidently. Or maybe it's just because I play with my friends and their enjoyment means something to me.
