#1 terracustos Sep 05, 2010 15:20:47	Hi Guys, I am moving abroad next year so, apart from my 3 core D&D books and 4 of my MTG decks, i am selling my entire collection of anything RP, fantasy related. I have an estimated 20,000 MTG cards, 100+ RP books, 100s of D&D models and a dozen or so sci fi/fantasy novels. I am looking for advice please on the best way to go about selling them? I dont know whether to go through ebay, try list it all on here or go by other means. Cheers T
#2 Anon_Eon Sep 05, 2010 15:28:22	first off I would seperate the quality playable rares, from the lot of cards then price them on a median scale of value. then see what you can get from a local card shop, if possible. If nothing else lot auction the entierty of the rest on ebay with a in general description of what sets they are from. Its probably better overall that you sell to the local card shops if posible, depending on what hes buying it at of course
#3 Mad_Jack Sep 05, 2010 15:41:02	Like the previous poster said, separate out the rarer cards and minis and try to sell them locally before putting them online. Sell the common stuff in big lots. As far as the books go, try eBay. They'll need to be in good condition, and you should do a search to see how many of them are already currently for sale there. Try listing them under several different keywords, like "D&D", "Dungeons and Dragons", "3.5", etc... The more keywords you tag them with, the more often they'll show up when people search for them. The sci-fi novels aren't likely to sell, unless they're something by a popular author that's out-of-print or is a first edition or something, and if they're harcovers rather than paperbacks the shipping rates will eat into your profits from them. Best to just donate them to your local public library.
