| #1mirrormageAug 16, 2009 18:27:25 | it might just be me but for some reason i cannot find the spell shadow image which is listed in the witches spell list in any of the book i have so i was wondering what it does on a side note a friend of mine is going to do a campaign were the things you can choose from is very restricted and on past campaigns he has made dumb choices that ruin game play for different classes like having all battles be vs zombies or immune to critical attacks and time tables that make it impossible for spell casters to ever rest and regain there spells but we have had some fights in the past over these things (some my flat) but if his campaign gets ruined by some other players ( another person who i know is very good at bringing up rules and other things to kill plot) should i let him join me or say no? the problem is that im working with another player and on there own there fine but when they get together they start doing bad things or disagring with me like (there was some plot stuff before this case were the person they were interveiwing was being stingy on info and tried to run) "i use ice spear to pin you to the floor and since you escape ill chain you up and both of them were lawful good and so after some stuff we finally progress into more plot were they here two old women talking about some evil clerics in town helping undead they proclamed it was a crazy town and went onto a hill used a lot of spells and burned the entire villige to the ground then after that they were didnt want to play my campain anymore after say the 15 min which the campain got started and how person 2 had a great idea for a campain which they said i couldnt be a part of and started imediently so should i let bigones be bigons or stick it to them? there fun to play with but there are just problems what should i do sorry for the big rant ![]() |

| #3cherubaddonAug 17, 2009 9:42:25 | In order: Where is Shadow Image? Good question, no clue. What witch class is that which you mention? That might help. Otherwise, I found this. Though I doubt it is what you mean. Should I let him joind or say no? Another good question. I'd suggest giving him a warning about what you consider the problem, and when he brings up loopholes, overrule him using Rule Zero. If alignment is a problem, have him feel the consequences: restrict his spells, ostracize him from society, or the like. What should I do? Use grammar. Seriously. I hate to be this condescending, but I had to read your post thrice before even having a vague idea of what you mean, and many people simply aren't willing to put in that much effort. This is pretty laid-back forum already (not the ****-retentive perfectionist I've had the dubious honour of meeting elsewhere), so it's not about mistakes. Everyone makes those. Just try to use punctuation and capitalization to organize your text. Makes is easier those willing to help you. |
