From a strange concept I believed popped out of Something Awful to a found-footage horror series to the leap into Survival Horror, the Slenderman archetype remains equally terrifying.  Also, the game is legally free, so you too can become afraid of leaving your house.  (And you thought Amnesia was the scariest game...) Or you could just watch PewDiePie's attempts at the game, which is fine too. Happy Nightmares!
#2 The_Silversword Jul 05, 2012 19:25:33	How can this so called Slenderman be mythological? Mythological? really? LIke centuars and ****? Even though the first reference of Slenderman is like from 2009? And theyre gonna lump him in the same boat as dragons and unicorns and ****? Maybe Mythological means something else to me that it does to most everyone else. That and honestly, I think he just looks goofy, not very scary at all.
#3 DoctorNecrotic Jul 05, 2012 23:46:59	He's based off the "Men in Black" mythos (As in, the unexplained humanoids, not the Will Smith movie), similar to the Silence from Doctor Who.  That and they refer to modern myths, like that, the grey aliens, mothman, and more.  With that out of the way, the video game is pretty good.  It's a fun experiment in Survival Horror!
