| #17boraxeOct 12, 2010 15:39:42 | Hello, suckers! Well, I'm back. Lightly braised by the Florida sun and ready to resume the daily grind. So, how many pedantic semantics debates did I miss? Who flamed who? Any spectacular burnouts? Cheers. ![]() |
| #18Robin_HoodlumOct 12, 2010 15:44:53 | Hello, suckers! Thanks for the warning! ![]() |
| #19zombie_babiesOct 12, 2010 15:47:11 | Hello, suckers! Welcome back. You didn't miss much of anything, really. No real battles, no burnouts - just another day after another day after ... |
| #20boraxeOct 12, 2010 16:05:37 | Finally got to fire a handgun! Ran a box of ammo through both a .22 and a .38 and didn't miss the lethal zone with a single shot, even at maximum range (50 ft, in this case). Sure, I'm not going to win Top Sniper any time soon, but I think it's not too bad for Canuck who's never fired a real pistol before. There was a buttload more hardware I wanted to try out - especially the .454 and the MP5 - but the wife was not enjoying all the noise and I didn't want her to have to sit around waiting for me. Oh well, something to look forward to next time. :D |

And not bad shooting for someone that's never fired a pistol before. Lotsa people have trouble with handguns. Missing that extra point of contact seems to give a lot of people fits. That's why using a rest is always advised if not always practical. Add in the shorter barrel and you get a tougher to accurately fire weapon. But, IMO, a hell of a lot more fun. ![]() |
| #22october_darknessOct 12, 2010 20:25:49 | Me personally, I'd like to do some more rifle training. Nothing seems better to me, than to smell the gunpowder as you fire a round. |
| #23iqwinnOct 12, 2010 23:00:50 | Welcome back, dude! Glad you fially got a chance to fire real weapons. Wait until you get a chance to fire an Uzi, or a Thompson submachine gun. |
| #24jesse.two.coinsOct 13, 2010 7:25:30 | Hello, suckers! I live in florida lol not that great |
