Im not sure, He used to I think, but theyre big business now and have shareholders and all that, but im sure he owns the majority of it.

This is either some kinda storyline theyre doing, or hes actually retiring.

Maybe he wanted to retire and make it part of the storyline. He most likely owns a majority of the shares of the company, so no one is going to be pushing him out. If they did, and it was real, it wouldn't be on TV.

I'm thinking he wanted to retire and wrote into the story line too.
I've told my younger brother before that to make it in the wwe, you have to be able to talk trash and act.

Vince had 30+ years doing it.

Keep in mind that, as a publicly traded company, there are regulations and laws that they need to follow when indicating changes in the upper executives. Most having to do with how much warning is given on these changes.

That being said...

The angle that has been playing out over the past couple of weeks with Cena, Punk and McMahaon, and now with HHH taking part, is easily some of the most compelling entertainment that WWE has put out in the past couple of years. It will be really, really interesting to see just where the WWE takes this storyline.

I am fully aware that wrestling is fake, in that the matches are scripted and everything is plotted out in advance.1 However, that in no way means that I cannot enjoy watching it and wondering where the writers are going to take the storyline.

1 - Of course, every TV show (barring "reality" TV) also falls under the same heading.

I've worked on three reality TV shows now. They're just as scripted in their own special way.
