Some people disliked that he raised the pay of top officials while cutting everyone else's pay. Then there was a tax increase in there somewhere. He also hired some guy from California to run some department and paid him almost $350,000. The weekend before this same guy was at a comedy club. Apparently he is also a comedian.  So the people of Miami Dade got rid of the mayor. We had an election to finish off the term. This guy Luke Cambell (aka Uncle Luke from an 80s & 90s rap group) ran for mayor. I think he got 3rd place or something, but it was not enough to include him in the run-off election. The other 2 clowns now have to go at it. Well... except now we may have one less since Robaina violated state law. This being Florida... and Miami Dade in particular... I bet he'll end up mayor anyways.
