Reaching a decade mark is only bad if you waste too much of your life worrying about things. For my 30th I had my biggest dirthday party ever and got really drunk. I'm 32 now and would say that while my 20's were pretty cool and help define part of who I am, my 30's will be better. Have been so far.

So...... The big party is Saturday. I'm renting the movie theater and watching one of the most influential movies of my youth, Darkman. Then later we're gonna watch some other movies maybe Army of darkness and I'm going to drink a killer shrew shake. Today I went on a spending spree with my bday money. I got Flood, which honestly I was even surprised I didn't own. On also got a bunch of DVD at some fairly good deals. The Battlestar Galatica miniseries along with the Directors cut of Dark City and Galaxy Quest. Damn. That movie is 10 years old. Of course the crowning achievement is the first Volume of Death Note. I've seen a few episodes and watched the Live Action movie and it's something that's always interested me.

Happy b-day. Buy ya' a beer or drive you later, you know, when you're unable ;).

Don't fret about your age. As my father once said about cancer getting & old, "It beats the alternative". You know, being dead.
Or, if you prefer, "On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero." -Fight Club Keeps you young and ambitious.

Besides, these days, 30 doesn't have the stigma that it did. I see white collar professionals damn near 40 (or more) carrying on about their Playstations and carousing w/ the college kids @ the bar just as I see hot shots poppin' fresh out of high school already talking about their Roth IRAs & retirements.

I have always found the inclusion of liquor to a laughing point in any discussion about "getting some tail". Forgive my snarkiness; but if you (anyone that is) needs liquor in order to achieve the act of getting sexual relations, then just keep it in your pants (both genders). At least try to be classy about it; dating, dinners, movies, romantic moonlight beach walks, poetry, ect., ect.. It isn't that hard you lazy slobs.

Dialing Wikipedia now....
....
....
And go >>

Twink or twinkie is a gay slang term describing a young or young-looking gay man (usually in his late teens or early twenties) with a slender build, little or no body hair, and no facial hair. In some societies, the term chick or chicken is preferred. Twinkle-toes is a related term also used, usually in a derogatory manner, to imply a man is effeminate. The terms can be complimentary or pejorative.

Then I guess you aren't so stupid for turning down a young woman after all...

I remain suspicious of the idea that a (straight) man would be "stupid" for turning down a young woman.

For one thing, not all young women are attractive. I should know, working with and seeing a lot of them all the time (I work on a college campus). Second, there's all sorts of mitigating conditions, such as marital status, inebriation, where you met the person, all sorts of things that can make it very much not "stupid" to turn down a tryst with a young person.

Though I suspect I'm over-thinking this.
