Has anyone considered doing OA set near the stone age - Primitive tribes living in the Swamps fighting over native rice fields?

Not, stone age Oriental adventures, SPECIFICALLY but I have run a few stone age ,paleolithic type games. What's the diference? No Metal working, Shamanistic Type magic (if at all) hunting and gathering, Big , hairy monsters it all sounds the same.

Why do I think that stone age would trump oriental? Call me crazy, but isn't the whole point of an oriental campaign based around a culture rather than a location or population? A stone age culture is pretty much the same no matter where you place it, isn't it?

For stone-age Japan, you'd be looking at jomon / yayoi cultures. But really, there isn't anyting that would striek you as distinctly oriental about those two cultures. Except for subtle skin colour / eye shape / body shape issues, they were pretty much the same as any other stone age culture worldwide.
