D&D in Sanctuary?

Jan 09, 2009 14:50:10 I have heard from sources I can't fully trust that someone produced a 3rd party D&D Campaign taking place on Sanctuary, the world of Blizzard's Diablo games. Can anyone confirm its existance for me (or lack there of) and if it does exist what edition is it built for and where can I find some information on it?

Jan 09, 2009 15:02:22 There was a 2nd edition Diablo supplement and a 3rd edition Diablo II supplement from WotC I believe. I haven't heard of anything more.

The old D&D Fast-Play Game also had a Diablo Booklet btw:

Computer version, yes.

Pen-n-Paper, only WotC took the chance. Haven't heard anyone getting the RPG license recently though.

I've seen the 'Thieve's World Player's Guide', and there a 'Thieve's World Gazeteer', 'Shadowspawn's Guide to Sanctuary', and at least one adventure, 'Murder at the Vulgar Unicorn'. You can find them at RPG.com, and presumably on the Green Ronin site.

I've seen the 'Thieve's World Player's Guide', and there a 'Thieve's World Gazeteer', 'Shadowspawn's Guide to Sanctuary', and at least one adventure, 'Murder at the Vulgar Unicorn'. You can find them at RPG.com, and presumably on the Green Ronin site.

Diablo computer RPG is based on Thieves' World books???

With the release of Diablo 3 (if blizzards ever does release it, last I checked their site it'd not been updated in 4 months) will we see a 4e Diablo setting? I am uncertain if WotC has the rights still on the setting or not, if they do I'm certain they'll use it, if not, it will probably be an issue of demand.
