Dragonstar is a great setting from A N Other producer in 3rd Ed material D&D. However the move to 4th Edition for the setting hasn't happened so I was interested if anyone has produced any homebrew material for the setting. I've checked out Amythyst and wasn't impressed as I wanted to retain the origional 4th Ed classes and not add any new ones. I've heard a few nay sayers pointing out that many of the martial characters are not range based so will be shadowed by the firearms in the setting but I cannot agree as many special forces need to be able to deal with enemy troops 'up close and personal'. Although I admit that normally the special forces use short range firearms, I see no reason why your average fighter in advanced Battle armour with a SMG in one hand and an expert with his enhanced vibrosword cannot be a terrifying sight in close quarters in a citadel or spaceship. Any help with the setting would be gratefully accepted.
