| #2cowleymenOct 26, 2014 16:11:29 | Uhm yes. You can find 3.5 pdfs online, but they do not match up ti each other at all. For the example., a 20th level fighter in 5th might have a total of +11 to hit, while a 3.5 fighter will pass that number up at level 3 or 4 |

You can also get your friends who are using 3.5 to try 5e because you have a starter set and phb, and there are free pdf's online for them. |

Alot of names and concepts are very similar at first glance, but in actual play they work out very different. Overall 5E is designed to be simpler than 3.5E.
