#1 nellshini Aug 21, 2014 10:58:57	I'm about to start a new campaign at 3rd Level and the DM wants us to think of character concepts coming into it ahead of time. The last time I played Forgotten Realms I was a Shifter Druid of Silvanus. This time I wanted to stick with Silvanus but possibly do things differently... so I ended up with Cleric.   [Silvanus] carries an enchanted maul hammer, "The Great Mallet of Silvanus", and mauls are his clergy's favored weapon.
#2 Suzume_Stjohn Aug 21, 2014 11:28:07	You already took care of that with warcaster. Edit: right. .. materials. If you use a spell focus (holy symbol on your hammer) you are set. Only spells you wont be able to cast like that are ones that consume the components
#3 nellshini Aug 21, 2014 12:03:21	Awesome! So as long as I wear a holy symbol (amulet) around my neck I'm covered for spells that would've been covered by a component pouch? Makes things a lot simpler... and cheaper, actually. Who would use a component pouch with spellcasting focuses around?
