| #1MMberserkerFeb 11, 2015 4:05:59 | Hey guys kind of new to D&D.
I have a 4th level duelist Half-Orc fighter 16,12,16,8,10,13. Who weilds a +1 sword and shield as his main weapons.
The current group Im with likes gorrila tactics and ambushes. wearing them down from afar before engaging. Which is fine with me I Have a heavy crossbow aswell. After the initial volley or two when they realise where we are. The battle changes for me and I get in there with my Sword and shield. Only problem is that It takes a full action to equip my shield even if I drop my crossbow. So mainly forced to ingage with just sword. Are there any ways around this e.g. equiping shield as a bonus action. or just choosing not to shoot with crossbow?. |
