Aylagur Buschbudd Illuskan Human(variant) Nature Cleric 15/Hunter Ranger 5 (C1/R5/C2+) Str 15 (14+1) Dex 13 Con 12 Int 10 Wis 16 (15+1) Cha 8 Feat: Polearm Master
Fluff-wise, his gear is made of repurposed alcohol-related materials. The metal strips of his splint armor come from the hoops of dwarven ale barrels, while his shield is the lid from a cask that once held a legendary vintage elven wine used in druidic rituals. His quarterstaff came from the mash room of a monastic order with a rich brewing tradition that spans almost the entirety of human civilization.
The Ranger levels are to pick up Extra Attack, Colossus Slayer, and Dueling for shield and shillelagh shenanigans. I also get 4 Ranger spells, with up to two being 2nd level. I'm leaning towards Goodberry, Hunter's Mark, Beast Sense, and Darkvision.
I know that this build is a little MAD, with a Str that isn't used outside of meeting heavy armor requirements. However, it's the charm of an alcoholic hippie that makes up for it. |

I'd go either Resilient (for +1 Constitution and proficiency in CON saves) or War Caster.
Though you could also go Polearm Master for some Shillelagh shenannigans! |
