I'm looking for art of or at least a name of a species that is mostly human(oid) but also has some scales and slight draconic features.  I want to say it was a 3x species in one of the numerous splat books, but it could have been a 4e species too.  I vaguely remember seeing the art, but I can't find it.  I checked the art on the spell scale from races of the dragon but that wasn't it.

Thanks

Kobold, Lizardfolk, Dragonborn. Those should be good starting points.

For 3rd Edition you've also got spellscales from Races of the Dragon and maybe the draconic template from the Draconomicon (but I only recall a single picture for that).

They definately weren't draconic physically, so kobolds, etc are out.  I looked at the spellscales and the draconic template and those weren't it either.  I appreciate the help though.

Ach, this is driving me nuts,  It almost makes me wonder if it was a 3rd party thing.  What I remember most is that it was humanoid with primarily human features but, at least in the one picture I remember, had blue scale accents like where sideburns would be, near the hairline, and patches on the arm.  I'll keep looking.

doesn't ring any bells, probably wasn't even D&D... probably third party like you said.

The rilkans (from Magic of Incarnum) had scales on their necks and arms and sound a bit like that, though they weren't at all draconic as far as I recall.

Rilkans!  That's the one I was looking for.  Thank you very much!  I would never have thought to look in the incarnum book.
