Barbarian Help

So I'm playing a variant human barbarian lvl 5. My two feats right now are tavern brawler and grappling expert (cant remember the actual name). Im goin Totem barbarian and taking bear as my first totem animal.
 

Str:16

Dex:14

Con:16

Int:8

Wis:10

Cha:10

Debating on talking great weapon master at level 8 or the stat increase. If i take the feat ill end with a 24 Str and a 22 Con at level twenty. What do yall think is better? I am for sure goin gtotem barbarian as its part of my story.

Also any other suggestions to increase damage would be helpful.
