| #1ApocolySep 08, 2014 4:35:37 | So, I'm going way off type for my first 5E character and playing a bard. I want to up the RP on this character and I was hoping the community could help me out. His instruments of choice are a violin, the harp and flute. My plan is to load up a playlist on my ipad and have it handy during gaming sessions for his music.
I'm familiar with Lindsey Stirling for some awesome violin music although I wouldn't be opposed to some other recommendations. The harp and the flute have me stumped though. If anyone has some suggestions I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance |

Good idea!
The problem is you'll probably need only one instrument at a time, without any orchestration/arrangement. I also suggest you short and distinctive melodies, because long songs usually do not work very well during a game.
I believe you'll have to dig into celtic music, traditional folk music or games/films soundtracks.
You can google/youtube the following Celtic music artists:
Flutte/Tin Whistle: Mary Bergin Harp: Patrick Ball Violin/fiddle : Eileen Ivers
