So Iv been looking at the domains of the cleric in the new players and they seem pretty nice. All depends how you want to play the game. The channel divinity aspect helps alot too, its just s shame it has so few uses even when you have the 1 hour rest.
Personaly I do like the tempest and Light builds best, but the armour on the tempest is hard to decline. Id like to hear what you think and what you would choose, both as damage dealers but also as to be able to play a good game!

Trickery is a bit of a rogue Nature is a bit of a druid War is a bit of a paladin
and so forth. I think Light and Tempest are the best in terms of expanding your options followed by Trickery and War. Nature and Knowledge are fairly weak. Life is just more healing.
I am very much looking forward to seeing the Death domain, which will be in the DMG. |

Dude in armor with a mace and 1 sad atfack with a 14 strength? Who has to drop their mace amd pick it up when they want to cast spells.or.they.have.to.spend.a.feat Like i said.. so many classes get cool, big, impactful mechanics that makes even their subclass standout as iconic. Not the cleric. |
