Best Concentration Blaster?

What spellcasting class gets the best Concentration based spells? Things like Spirit Guardians, Call Lightning, etc?

Sorcerer, despite getting Constitution saving throw proficiency, doesn't have too many. Well, Draconic Bloodlines don't, anyway.

I looked at the Druid, and while it gets lots of Concentration spells, most are debuff and control effects. Not so much damage.

Cleric? Not bad.

I haven't had much of a chance to look at the Wizard yet.

So, which one do you think?

Lore bard.  Who eventually get's the best 8 blast spells in the game (depending on how you read the retraining rules).  You don't get the recharging spells, but you don't need them as a concentraion blaster.

Tempest cleric is second.

Then you get both call lighting (maximized) for when your outside and spirit guardians for inside.  Possibly sanctuary to keep you safe depending on your definition of "attack".

Also spiritual weapon for your bonus action (though definatly doesn't work with sanctuary).

Insect Plauge and Blade Barrier doesn't move, so i don't know if they count.

Wizards have flaming sphere but that's level 2 and only scales by d6 so it lacks punch past the first few levels.  Later they get animate objects, but that's probably closer to a summon.  Sunbeam at high levels covers a large area, but low damage.

Wall of fire/ice don't move.  Stinking cloud is 90% the same as insect plauge.

Druids has both moon beam, call lighting, and sunbeam, so they arn't too sabby.

They have plenty of non-moving ones, including earthquake.

Don't forget Sunbeam for Druids. Great for fighting, and great for sandwiches!

Hadn't given much thought to Lore Bard. I'll look into them a bit more.

in season 2 spell you got:

- all the investiture that gie you an energy base attack plu many other bonus

- Melf Minute Meteor, which give you a concentration bonus action that you can use with a non cnoncentration fireball for mage blasting

- reverse gravity and telekenesis can do good damage and will CC the target (and sorcerer can twin cast telekenisis to double the output)

Damn, I'm pretty torn between Tempest Cleric and Druid. Either way I want to go pure caster, but most of Tempest's features require a weapon to benefit from. Seems like they'd be wasted. Tempest can maximize twice per short rest at lv6, which can drastically alter an encounter and resource management. But they can't replenish spell slots... Hmm.

Spiritual Guardians, when used in the right circumstances, can be a real beast. A cleric in my game used it to slay something like 10 – 20 demons single-handedly (granted, they were really weak demons, but it was still a worthy feat).

The Warlock also has some meaty concentration-based attacks.

If you want to continue with your current character then take a few levels of sorc and sacrifice warlock slots for meta quicken and shoot off super EB maybe talk to DM and as a bonus depending on how you split your levels maybe you can get a spell you can dual concentrate. Maybe talk your DM into new EB invocation that adds a different effect to EB but not in conjunction with pushing a la 3.5. For bonus points you may be able to to convince for a different element of dragon or an invocation that does it again a la 3.5. Though much of this convincing is unneeded as long as you quickening super EB .

I think Druid wins. The Tempest Cleric's spell list tops out at lv5 spells, and after that, the Cleric list didn't really impress me (For the purposes of what I want to do).

The Druid, on the other hand? Pretty solid throughout, even independent of your Land Circle.
