In my excessive delving into the Abyssal creatures I have found myself interested in Graz'zt.

Thinking I would like to orchestrate a character based on his lineage. I would like to diligently look into the cannon of information which currently exists.  The internet is vast and seemingly incomplete when it comes to the information I seek. I have found a few conflicting ideas as to his origin.  More so troubling is of the notable children Graz'zt has sired Athux, Arzial, Belyara, Iuz, Rule-of-Three, and Thraxxia.

Some of these children I have seen their features listed as simply cambion or Alu-fiend. Two of them (Belyara and Rule-of-Three) I have been unable to find any information about their features. I simply curious as to how Graz'zt Abat- dolor like traits have passed on to his children. If someone could possibly fill me in on any information on Belyara and Rule-of-Threes appearance I would be quite grateful.

On a side note; most well known is Iuz's mother.

Is there any information out there about the subsequent children’s mothers?

It would be interesting to know at the very least the races of each mother and wither there or not they survived child birth.

I do know Athux mother was a drow. I'm unsure if she survived child birth.

Also if there are other children sired by Graz'zt who's mother was Tanar'ri  or Obyrith I would very much like to know of there history, and apperance.

Cheers,

P.S very excited to see what other players know.

I hope the handful of you that are also interested in information have some fun follow up inquiries.

It's "Iuz." With a 'i" not an "L". Common mistake. Drelzna (Lost Caverns of Tsjocanth) is the daughter of  Iggwilv.  So, technicaly a sibling of Iuz, at least a half-sister.  The father is never identified and could be Grazz't.

Look into Elazalag and Rhyxali.

Thanks for the spelling edit. I have made the change.

I have looked into Drelzna. Her relationship with her mother is intresting. It seems that Iggwilv trust and perfers the company of her daughter over her son.

Drelzna was born far before Iggwilv had learned of Graz'zt making it very unlikely.

I have indeed. They both appear to be Abat-dolor race. Neither are Graz'zt children. I haven't seen any children born of him with either of them.  Graz'zt for what it's worth Graz'zt has many concubine's (Ashetha, Drosophila, Euosha, Khadija, Megaera, Melia)

All of this is great cannon fodder for character creation. I have compiled quite a list of tanar'ri's, Obyrith and ect to use to weave an origan story.

Just want to be sure this new character looks the part.

I take it I have to find the supplements in which Rule-of-Three and Belyara in which to find any infomation on them.

That's dissapointing.

Could anyone be so kind as to point to which adventure each appear?
