#1 Stuntman Sep 01, 2015 13:07:05	I've always been a fan of multiclassing since AD&D when my first character ever was a fighter/magic-user.  I also played a cleric/magic-user back then.  After going through the multiclassing rules in 5E, I've decided to play a cleric/wizard to see how well multiclassing works with a two spellcasting classes.  I like how 5E multiclassing works and feel that I can make an effective cleric/wizard.   I plan to start as a cleric with the knowledge domain and then add wizard levels.  I'm probably going to take more wizard levels than cleric.  Probably go cleric 1, wizard 1, cleric 2, wizard 2-5.  With my character concept, I'll be choosing the knowledge domain and diviniation school.   I was wondering if there are any other players who have decide to play a multiclass character with two spellcasting classes.  I'd be interested in knowing your experiences.
#2 lestroissauvages Sep 01, 2015 15:31:51	With your levels as described, it'll be quite awhile before you can bump any ability scores. Otherwise, it sounds like fun. I'm hoping to play something similar in the future.
#3 Treantmonklvl20 Sep 01, 2015 20:08:34	Wizard/Cleric multiclass is quite effective.  I particulary like Knowledge Cleric as it fits nicely with the "Educated" style of a wizard.  I guess the only suggestion I would have is holding off level 2 of Knowledge Cleric until after level 5 of Wizard, though that is only for optimization reasons.  If those mean little to you, your plan sounds terrific.
