Hey Guys was thinking about the spell Create/Destroy water.
- I know you can use it to Injure water elementals.
- Or if your stuck in a dessert scene and you need water is a life saver.
Making a Water Gensai tempest cleric and wondering what
other interesting ways players have used the abiltiy in game?
With Create Water and the shape water cantrip that water genasi get free, you can create water, shape it into anything you need, then freeze the water in that shape. If you make a weapon it will probably break, but still... you can have anything for an hour or so.
Thats a interesting idea I hadnt though about freezing the water

The DM I've played with often has things catch on fire either through foes' action or when a pc casts burning hands in a wooden building or forest area, etc. Create water comes in handy to put out those fires.
I also think you could dump water over a foe to distract, insult, enrage, embarrass. DM will have to adjudicate, but it could be loads of fun in some situations.
