Hi all

My FLGS is running expeditions this weekend and has a very vague blurb on the website.  Does anyone know what level character one should bring?  Are there posted rules?  Do these usually last four hours?  Sorry for the noob ??? and thanks in advance

"Adventure's wanted! All willing and abled bodies asked to heed this call, for the weak are in need of strong persons of gifted talents to save them from those of darkness and evil. "Set in the Moonsea region of the Forgotten Realms, you’ll explore the storyline as it affects the denizens of that area of Faerûn. Here, you’ll get to take your character from its humble beginnings to the heights of high level play, and have a chance to really influence your region through your character’s actions and the actions of your faction...D&D Expeditions is the public’s D&D campaign, growing and changing as events resolve and new threats emerge. Each storyline visits a different area of the Moonsea, affecting some change there, and all the factions are involved." If you consider yourself capable of such adventures, please gather at GamescapeSF, Sunday, October 26th at noon, and prepare yourself for battle and fortune!!"

You start at first level, the player's guide is here: http://media.wizards.com/downloads/dnd/ADVLeague_PlayerGuide_TODv1.pdf

I *think* the only Expedition adventures currently available are for lvl 1-4 characters. But you need an Adventure League character. If you don't have one, you can use a supplied pregen character, or create your own 1st level character using the rule in the guide linked above.

Also, there is an AL forum here which might be a better source of info.

You'll need a Level 1 character built using the Adventurers League rules (link has been posted above). In particular, this means you can't roll for ability scores, hit points, or gold.
