Dispel Magic

Jeremy Crawford confirmed that Rangers don't have the Dispel Magic spell. Can some one explain why a character with spell casting ability not be able to cast this spell. I would think it would be a given with spell casting. Every spell casting class has the spell or would be able to learn it i.e. Eldritch Knight

Rangers are divine-style casters. They can't break apart spells because they don't know how spells actually work.
