| #1daspianAug 24, 2014 19:06:56 | Hey all, one of my players wants me to make an assassins guild for him and i love the challenge of doing it, so i went ahead and made a huge long story and everything for them and he loved it... but then i had an issue i realized that i brought up with him, and i thought it'd be cool ( we like to have visual aids sometimes in our games, so we make our own maps, or ocasionally do other things etc). i wanted to make the Guild's call symbol or icon. Is there some form of program ( besides paint cause i suck at paint xD) that can help me make this... i suck at drawing =S similar to how deities have simple symbols or iconic weapons devote to them. like Silvanus' being a oak leaf, or Torm a white right handed gauntlet etc, the guild symbol for this guild was a Crow eating an eye my player wanted. i have no problem with that, but ...i'm a crappy artist, and was having trouble finding a program besides paint or google Docs Draw =S
so ... to my question... What programs etc do you ass DM's or Players use to provide or create visual aids for your campaigns? or what would you suggest i use besides the simple Paint etc? cause i suck at drawing =S |

GIMP is a free image manipulation software, essentially a budget version of Photoshop... Do a quick Google image search for pictures of crows, find a simple black silhouette illustration that you like and then use the drawing tools included with GIMP to draw a black circle for the eye...
Any of these images could be modified to have one of the crows with an eyeball in his mouth...
