#1 UnadvisedGoose Aug 22, 2014 19:17:36	Hey guys, I'm about to start a fresh campaign tomorrow as a Druid, and we were encouraged to come up with back stories and the like as usual, but I had a good idea for a specific item and I wanted to present it here for balance issues and such. First, is it balanced and seemingly useful? And second, should it be an artifact? So let me know thoughts and criticisms please.   The Circle of the Moon This ring is pure silver with Druidic symbols for various beasts lining the band. Named after a circle of Druids who specialize in animal magic, this ring allows Druids to become proficient with the beast forms that they first learned to adopt with the wild shape feature. Add your proficiency bonus, divided by two and rounded down, to all attack and damage rolls of the beast form. Add your proficiency bonus to the beast's AC. The beast form's hit point maximum equals its normal maximum or four times your Druid level, whichever is higher. This effect remains when this ring is incorporated into the new form as the transformation takes place. This ring's magic only applies to creatures with a challenge rating of 1 or lower.
#2 Whir Aug 23, 2014 14:25:54	A little more powerful than a normal +1 weapon because of the AC bump and hit point boost, but nothing game-breaking. I'd say rare item, but not necessarily artifact.
