| #2jaappletonJul 09, 2015 18:01:15 | As far as I know it only applies to attacks you make with a staff or club. So it would not work. |
| #3YunruJul 09, 2015 19:33:02 | Shillelagh reauires a staff as a component. It also only affects that staff. Other uses are definitely cheating. |
| #4melloredJul 09, 2015 19:53:09 | if your animal form could wield a staff... |

| #6SilentSinJul 09, 2015 22:34:43 | The first bullet point says you keep skill and save proficiencies, but doesn't mention weapons.
However, the 4th point says you retain everything if your new form is physically capable of "doing so".
If you rule that an ape is physically capable of wielding a staff or club, then you would retain your proficiency. |

| #9jaappletonJul 10, 2015 3:51:06 | Looking at the rules under the Druid class, page 67. Equipment can be used, but your DM decides if it's practical for that creature to use it. A wolf won't be using a club. A gorilla? Maybe, I assume DM call. Note that you retain YOUR Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores while in beast form. So you know how to smack someone with a club. |
