| #2HorwathMay 25, 2015 8:04:12 | I think that the biggest advantage of land druid is that he will be played more intelligently.
You will have more impact with your spells on the battleground and control of the situation while moon druid will probably burn all his spells on combat healing in wild shape.

| #4HorwathMay 25, 2015 8:33:03 | You still get extra cantrip, it seems weak but it isn't and one extra highest spell per day(max 5th level) is excelent.
Also you get access to many non druid spells via your chosen circle.
I think that moon druid is made for new players that want to play a druid but keeping it simple.

So yes, you're a pretty amazing damage sponge, but you'll pretty much just be standing around doing one big attack each round. So a lot of it has to do with the level you'll be playing at, and what you think is fun. |

And while amazing at level 2-4, beast's to-hit and damage doesn't scale very well, and cantrips do comperable damage at level 5. Leaving moon as a bag of HP.
I'd call versatility about equal, as extra shape shifting forms for moon, and extra known spells for land. |

The extra cantrip, free circle spells prepared, and slot recovery options are good options. A lot of spells known at lower levels creates versatility. |

I've joined a campaign as a 10th level Druid of the Moon, Draven Moltenclaw.
A friend of mine is in the same game as a 10th level Druid of the Coast.
I co-tank and support rather well with the superior Wildshape, Polymorph, and the Conjure spells.
He on the other hand offers help where were lacking with his weaker wildshapes out of combat and larger list of prepared spells.
Whenever we work together we come up with some pretty entertaining 'combos'. I turned into an Earth Elemental so he could Thorn Whip people towards me while standing on my shoulder, meanwhile I threw Magmins like grenades I summoned before my shape change. |

| #12OmniliciousJun 05, 2015 19:36:41 | A Land Druid is far easier to multi-class with another class as you gain most of the Land Druid's benefits by level 14. I find anything short of a level 18 Moon druid is seriously gimping themselves.
A Land Druid mc'd with 6-10 levels from another class or combination of more can make a potent and adaptable caster or caster hybrid as you are not bound to mazimizing form usage. Anything less than 18 levels of druid I would go Land Druid (because beast spells make Moon Druid hella amazing). |
