May 20, 2015 15:47:51 Hey guys, what's the deal with favored enemies. Am I able to take humans and elves as a favored enemy? I was looking at playing my ranger like a bounty hunter and figured those would be the most commonly hunted races.

May 20, 2015 16:00:26 Yes, if you take humanoid as your favored enemy you get to choose two races (human, elf, orc, lizardman, kobold, etc) and you learn 1 language that one of the 2 races speak, in this case elven.

To be honest, favored enemy is mostly about the language now, but take whatever works for your concept. A nice DM may let you take an additional language if you would otherwise lose out.
