So the other day I decided I wanted to try out an "unconventional" character concept utilizing multiclassing, but I wasn't clear on how to necessarily do so in an efficient way in 5e. Currently, my characters level 20 combination is looking like a Variant Human Fighter (Champion) 16/Wizard (Divination) 2/ Barbarian 2 as of the posting of this thread.

I felt like creating a character able to abuse the expanded crit of the fighter by using the barbarian's relentless attack feature and the divination wizard's portent feature. The lucky feat (which would be taken at level four as seen bellow) will assist in the same way. Stacking a large amount of potential advantage in addition with the possibility of the (ever elusive) auto crit is how this character concept came to be for me.

On top of the above features, I wanted who character utilized polearms, therefore Polearm Master and Sentinel will be taken as well (In my first draft, taken at levels 1 and 6 respectively). I feel this synergizes well with my build because of the additional opportunities to crit via the opportunity attacks and the bonus action attack from polearm master. This method decidedly fits better then duel wielding (mostly/only due to backstory and personal tastes/thematic purposes).

Currently, my character's progression is laid out in the following way:
Race Variant Human: (+1 Str +1Con/Int) Polearm Master
Level 1 Fighter 1
Level 2 Fighter 2
Level 3 Fighter 3 (Champion)
Level 4 Fighter 4 (Champion) ABI/Feat: Lucky
Level 5 Fighter 5 (Champion)
Level 6 Fighter 6 (Champion) ABI/Feat: Sentinel
Level 7 Wizard 1 (Divination)
Level 8 Wizard 2 (Divination)
Level 9 Fighter 7 (Champion)
Level 10 Fighter 8 (Champion) ABI/Feat: Alert/+2 Str/+2 Con
Level 11 Barbarian 1
Level 12 Barbarian 2
Level 13 Fighter 9 (Champion)
Level 14 Fighter 10 (Champion)
Level 15 Fighter 11 (Champion)
Level 16 Fighter 12 (Champion) ABI/Feat: Alert/+2 Str/+2 Con
Level 17 Fighter 13 (Champion)
Level 18 Fighter 14 (Champion)
Level 19 Fighter 15 (Champion)
Level 20 Fighter 16 (Champion) ABI/Feat: Alert/+2 Str/+2 Con

I was wondering firstly and most importantly if there was a better way to order this levelwise, and if as per the rules everything makes sense. Next, I question if there were better ways to do this (while still dipping wizard for portent, for backstory reasons). Also I would enjoy any feat advice as well, especially with the order in which I take them.  I appreciate any input anyone might have. Thanks

*Note: please point out if anything listed is contrary to the rules, I may have made mistakes regarding the ability score increaes but I believe they are currently notated correctly.

**I am perfectly aware that I need the 13 INT to dip into the wizard. My DMs rolling system makes this very plausible preracial, or worst case scenario postracial.

***My DM interperates polearm master and sentinel as able to synergise, before anyone brings that up again.

Thanks again for any assistance or constructive critisism.

The Great Weapon Master feat comes to my mind when going for criticals and advantage,

both for the extra attack use and the -5/+10.

But you already chose a lot of feats, so your stats might suffer too much.
